Best way to rent Forest Hills Gardens apartment

Post Best way to rent Forest Hills Gardens apartment 
My wife and I are moving to Forest Hills from California. I had the opportunity to visit Forest Hills Gardens, and viewed some apartments in The Leslie. Are there any other apartment buildings like this in FH Gardens? Also saw signs for Forest Hills Inn and The Garden Arms...any feedback would be appreciated. We are planning to rent beginning Jun 1.

I think there are private houses for rent. Those would be much more pleasant than apartments. Also you can skip the board's application for approval. But I suppose the apartments would be much closer to the subway. Is it just you and wife? 2 persons?

i am also looking for something in forest hills garden neighborhood, but its so hard to find any possible "for rent" houses in this area. I have been looking on craigslist so far..any other suggestions plz??

Hi Archie, Welcome!

Unfortunately there is no centralized place to find rentals as you have found. The offices that specializes in forest hills gardens are Advantage (718 268-2828), Terrace (718 268-1045), Madeleine (718 520-0303) and now Weichert (718 544-4000). Kraham (718 275-0600) specializes in rentals also.

How many bedrooms are you looking for?

I am planning to have some vacation on near forest hills garden. My family want it too also and I think this will be the best place for us. There are many place to go but I think that is the best among the rest.
